RED GIANT RELEASES MAGIC BULLET SUITE 11

Red Giant has released Magic Bullet Suite 11. Designed by VFX guru and filmmaker Stu Maschwitz, Magic Bullet Suite 11 includes nine software applications for professional colour correction, enhancement and film output.

Magic Bullet Suite 11 costs $799 and features Magic Bullet Looks v2; Cosmo, a brand new tool for skin smoothing and cosmetic effects; and Grinder 1.5, for fast, simple transcoding of digital SLR footage to edit-friendly formats.

Adobe Systems Incorporated has announced an upgrade program for video professionals who have purchased any version of Apple Final Cut Pro or Avid Media Composer and want to switch to professional video tools by Adobe—Creative Suite CS5.5 Production Premium or Premiere Pro CS5.5. These customers will be eligible for a 50 percent savings on Adobe Creative Suite CS5.5 Production Premium or Adobe Premiere Pro CS5.5, both launched in April 2011 at the National Association of Broadcasters Show. Eligible Adobe suite and point product customers also qualify for the program.
